1. Information You Add to Lapse

Lapse allows you to store information such as:

• Item names

• Expiration dates
• Reminder settings
• Optional notes

This information is stored locally on your device.

Deviking does not receive, upload, store, or have access to your expiry items, notes, categories, or reminder information.

No user account is required to use Lapse.

2. Local Data Storage

Your Lapse data is stored locally on your device.

The data remains on your device until you:

• Edit or delete individual items
• Reset or clear application data
• Uninstall the application

Deviking does not maintain a remote copy of this locally stored information.

3. Notifications

Lapse may request permission to send notifications.

Notifications are used to remind you about upcoming expiration dates based on the reminder settings you choose.

Notification scheduling is performed locally on your device.

You can disable notifications at any time through the Lapse settings or your Android device settings.

4. Advertising

Lapse displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google Mobile Ads may automatically collect and process certain information, including:

• IP address
• Device and account identifiers, including advertising identifiers where available
• Information about interactions with advertisements and the application
• Diagnostic and performance information
• General location information inferred from the IP address

This information may be used by Google for purposes including:

• Displaying and measuring advertisements
• Advertising personalization where permitted
• Analytics
• Fraud prevention
• Security and abuse prevention

Data transmitted by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit.

Deviking does not receive your locally stored Lapse expiry data through AdMob.

5. Advertising Consent

Where required by applicable law, including in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Lapse may display a consent message before personalized advertising services are used.

6. Advertising ID

Google Mobile Ads may use the Android Advertising ID or other device identifiers for advertising and related purposes, subject to the user’s device settings, consent choices, and applicable law.

Deviking does not sell your personal information.

The expiry dates, reminder information, notes, and categories that you enter into Lapse are not shared with Deviking or third parties.

8. Analytics

Lapse does not use a separate analytics service operated by Deviking.

Google Mobile Ads may process interaction and diagnostic information as part of its advertising, measurement, analytics, and fraud-prevention services.

9. Internet Access

Lapse may use an internet connection to load advertisements and communicate with Google advertising and consent services.

The core expiry tracking and reminder functionality is designed to operate locally on your device.

10. Data Security

Lapse is designed to keep your expiry-related information locally on your device.

No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their device, including screen locks, operating system updates, and other device security measures.

11. Children’s Privacy

Lapse is not specifically designed or directed toward children.

The application is intended for general audiences who need to track expiration dates and reminders.

12. Third-Party Services

Lapse uses services provided by Google, including:

• Google AdMob
• Google Mobile Ads SDK
• Google User Messaging Platform, where applicable
