Preparing Your Paddle Live Account
Once your Sandbox tests are successful, configure the Live environment separately.
Do not reuse Sandbox credentials.
2.1 Website Approval
For Live payments, your website must be approved by Paddle.
Go to:
Paddle → Checkout → Website approval
Add the domain where WooCommerce is installed.
For example:
https://example.com
Submit the website for approval.
Unlike Sandbox, the Live environment requires an approved production website before normal Live checkout usage.
2.2 Set the Live Default Payment Link
After your website is approved, go to:
Checkout → Checkout settings
Set:
Default payment link
For example:
https://example.com/
The Live Default Payment Link must use an approved website.
2.3 Create the Live API Key
Go to:
Developer tools → Authentication → API keys
Create a new API key for the production site.
A Live API key starts with:
pdl_live_apikey_
Copy and securely store the key.
2.4 Create the Live Client-side Token
Go to:
Developer tools → Authentication → Client-side tokens
Create a token for your production checkout.
Live client-side tokens start with:
live_
Copy the token for use in the plugin.
2.5 Create the Live Webhook
Live and Sandbox notification destinations are separate.
Go to:
Developer tools → Notifications → New destination
Use the Paddle Webhook URL displayed by Deviking Paddle Gateway.
Subscribe to:
transaction.paidtransaction.completedtransaction.payment_failedtransaction.canceled
Save the destination and copy the new Live Secret key.
Do not reuse the Sandbox webhook secret. Sandbox and Live notification data are separate.
