The setting:

Order status after payment

controls the WooCommerce status applied after Paddle confirms payment.

Available options:

WooCommerce automatic

Recommended for most stores.

WooCommerce decides whether the order should become:

Processing

or:

Completed

depending on the products in the order.

Processing

Always place successfully paid orders into:

Processing

Completed

Immediately mark successfully paid Paddle orders as:

Completed

For stores selling only downloadable software, WooCommerce automatic or Completed are normally the most useful choices.
