Common Problems

Paddle does not appear at checkout

Check that:

• The Deviking license is active
• Paddle payments are enabled
• The correct Sandbox/Live credentials are entered
• The API Key and Client-side Token belong to the selected Mode
• All cart products are Virtual or Downloadable

“No default payment link has been set”

Go to:

Paddle → Checkout → Checkout settings

and configure:

Default payment link

Paddle does not allow a transaction to be created without it.

Payment succeeds but WooCommerce order is not updated

Check:

Paddle → Developer tools → Notifications

Confirm that the webhook destination is active and includes:

• transaction.paid
• transaction.completed
• transaction.payment_failed
• transaction.canceled

Then verify that the correct webhook Secret is configured in the plugin.

Invoice is not immediately available

Paddle may still be finalizing the transaction.

Wait a few seconds and click:

Download Invoice

again.

The invoice is normally available once the Paddle transaction has reached its final completed state.
