Templates, settings and background jobs

Deviking Import & Export Pro includes several tools that make recurring import and export work easier to manage.

Import and Export Templates

Mappings and configurations can be saved as reusable templates. Import Templates and Export Templates are managed separately.

Templates can also be exported as portable Deviking template files and imported on another WordPress installation.

Import Settings

Import Settings contains default import options and Import Template management.

Export Settings

Export Settings contains default export options and Export Template management.

General Settings

General Settings contains plugin-wide options, including history and uninstall-data settings.

Background imports

Imports continue processing in the background after they are started. You do not need to keep the Run Import page open.

Manage Imports shows active progress and provides controls such as Stop and Resume for supported running jobs.

Scheduling

Imports and exports can also use scheduling options where available, allowing saved jobs to run automatically according to their configured schedule.
