Supported import files and sources

Deviking Import & Export Pro can import data from several common structured-data formats and source locations.

Supported import file formats

• CSV
• TSV and other delimited TXT files
• XML
• JSON
• Excel XLSX

Supported source types

Depending on the import setup, you can work with:

• Files uploaded directly to the plugin
• Remote file URLs
• FTP or FTPS sources
• Files already stored by the plugin

Delimited files

For CSV and other delimited text files, the delimiter can be configured for the import. This allows the plugin to work with files that use commas, semicolons, tabs or another supported delimiter.

After selecting the source, the plugin lets you review the detected records before you continue to field mapping.
