Global Rules and Product Overrides

Per-field inheritance

Product overrides are evaluated separately for Minimum, Maximum and Step.

Example

Global settings:

• Min: 5
• Max: 100
• Step: 5

Product settings:

• Min: 10
• Max: empty
• Step: empty

Effective product rules:

• Min: 10
• Max: 100
• Step: 5

You do not need to duplicate all global values on every product.
