Do I Need to Set a Default Quantity?

No. Deviking MinMaxStep intentionally does not use a separate Default Quantity setting.

The quantity input starts from the effective Minimum Quantity. If no Deviking minimum applies, WooCommerce keeps its normal default behavior.
