Field List Columns — Complete Reference

Drag handle

The handle at the far left is used to reorder a field. Dragging starts only from this handle so clicking switches, selects, labels, or buttons does not accidentally move the row.

Required

When enabled, checkout validation requires a value before the order can be placed.

Position

Controls field width: Wide uses a full row, Left uses the first half, and Right uses the second half when the checkout layout supports a two-column row.

Clear

Controls classic WooCommerce form-row clearing. It is mainly relevant to Classic Checkout layouts that use traditional row-clearing behavior.

Type

Shows the field type, such as Text, Select, VAT / Tax Number, Date Picker, or File Upload.

Label

Shows the customer-facing field name.

Placeholder

Shows the configured helper text that appears inside supported inputs.

Shortcode

Shows the normal Deviking shortcode. If YayMail is active, a second YayMail-specific order-meta shortcode is also shown.

Disabled

Turns the field off without deleting its configuration.

Edit

Opens the complete field editor.

Delete

Removes a removable custom field after the next Save. Native WooCommerce fields are normally managed rather than deleted.
