Default

Default is type-aware. The editor changes the Default control according to the selected field type.

Examples

• Text uses a text value.
• Number uses a numeric value.
• Date Picker uses a date input.
• Time Picker uses a time input.
• Color Picker uses a color control.
• Checkbox uses Checked by default.
• Select and Radio use the configured options.
• Multiselect and Multicheckbox can use multiple default selections.

Select with no default

If no default is selected, the customer sees Select an option instead of the first real option being selected automatically.
