Deviking Checkout Fields

Using the YayMail Shortcode

When YayMail is active, each field row shows a second shortcode specifically for YayMail.

Generic example

[yaymail_order_meta:_billing_tax_id]

Workflow

  1. Find the field in Checkout Fields.
  2. Copy the YayMail shortcode from that field row.
  3. Open the desired YayMail template.
  4. Paste the shortcode directly into a YayMail text block.
  5. Preview the email using an order that contains a saved value for that field.

When YayMail is inactive

Only the normal Deviking shortcode is shown.

Why the plugin does not add a large shortcode menu

The integration is intentionally copy-and-paste oriented. Checkout Fields does not need to register one visible custom shortcode entry per field inside the YayMail picker.
