Managing Native Billing Fields

Native Billing fields remain WooCommerce fields. Checkout Fields changes their configuration but does not turn them into unrelated custom fields.

Why this matters

• Payment gateways can depend on billing address data.
• Tax calculation can depend on country, state, city, and postcode.
• Customer accounts can save billing addresses.
• Emails and invoices can use native billing values.

Recommendation

Disable native billing fields only after testing the complete checkout with the store’s payment, tax, and account configuration.
