Checkout Fields leaves the normal WooCommerce tax logic in control.

OSS — EU cross-border B2C

Enables the plugin’s OSS-oriented destination/origin VAT behavior for eligible EU consumer sales.

IOSS — imports into the EU

Enables IOSS-oriented handling for eligible imported low-value goods.

Automatic

Uses OSS logic for EU stores and IOSS logic for non-EU stores according to the plugin’s automatic scheme selection.

Note: The plugin uses WooCommerce tax tables for actual VAT rates.
