VAT Validation Results

Valid

The online validation service confirms the number as valid for the submitted country context.

Invalid

The service responds successfully but reports that the number is not valid.

Unverified

The number is collected but no supported online validation was performed.

Service unavailable

The online service could not be reached or returned a technical failure. This is not the same as an invalid number.

Non-VIES countries

The plugin can still collect the tax number, but VIES cannot validate it.
