Using Deviking Post Expiration with Custom Post Types

Custom Post Type support

Deviking Post Expiration discovers public WordPress post types and allows administrators to enable compatible types from the Enable for setting.

Enable the Custom Post Type

1. Open Post Expiration.
2. Find the required Custom Post Type under Enable for.
3. Select it.
4. Save the settings.

What becomes available

After enabling the type, the plugin can add:

• The Post Expiration editor panel
• The Expiration list column
• Expiration list filters
• Quick Edit expiration controls
• Bulk Edit expiration controls

Compatibility note

The Custom Post Type should behave like normal editable WordPress content. Highly customized editing systems may not expose standard WordPress editor or list-table hooks in the same way.
