Expiration Runs at the Wrong Local Time

Check the site timezone first

Deviking Post Expiration uses Settings → General → Timezone. It does not schedule according to the administrator’s browser clock.

Look for a consistent offset

If every expiration runs exactly one, two, or several hours away from the expected time, the WordPress timezone is likely configured incorrectly.

After correcting the timezone

Review existing schedules. A previously stored timestamp represents the original schedule calculation, so important upcoming items should be opened, checked, and saved again when necessary.

Daylight saving time

Using a named region timezone such as Europe/Athens allows WordPress to handle daylight saving transitions more reliably than a fixed UTC offset.
