Deviking Post Expiration

Scheduled and Expired Status Badges

Scheduled

The Scheduled badge means expiration is enabled for the content item and the plugin has not yet marked the expiration as completed.

In the WordPress list table, the Expiration column also displays the configured date and time beneath the status badge.

Expired

The Expired badge means the plugin has processed the expiration action for that item and stored the expired state.

Redirect action behavior

Redirected content is also marked Expired. Unlike Draft, Private, or Trash, the Redirect visitors action does not need to change the underlying WordPress post status. Instead, the plugin detects the expired item on the frontend and redirects visitors to the configured destination.

No expiration

Items without an active expiration schedule display a dash in the Expiration column and can be found using the No expiration list filter.
