Why a Custom Post Type May Not Appear in Settings
The plugin lists public post types
Deviking Post Expiration builds its Enable for list from post types registered as public in WordPress. Attachments are excluded.
If the type is missing
Possible reasons include:
- The Custom Post Type is registered with
publicset to false. - The plugin that registers the type has not loaded correctly.
- The content type is not registered as a standard WordPress post type.
- The type is intentionally private or admin-only.
What to check
Confirm the Custom Post Type registration settings or contact the developer of the plugin/theme that creates the content type. Avoid modifying Deviking Post Expiration to force unsupported private post types into the list.
