Deviking Post Expiration

Content Expired Immediately After Saving

Most common cause: the timestamp is already due

Deviking Post Expiration checks whether the saved timestamp is in the future. If the timestamp is already in the past, the plugin processes the expiration immediately.

Check both date and time

A schedule using today’s date can already be expired if the selected time is earlier than the current WordPress site time.

Check the timezone

An incorrect WordPress timezone can also make a future-looking local time appear past to WordPress.

Recovery

If the item moved to Draft or Private unexpectedly, restore the desired WordPress status, configure a future expiration timestamp, and save the item again.

If the item was moved to Trash, restore it from the normal WordPress Trash before configuring a new schedule.
