No. Enabling Posts, Pages, or a Custom Post Type in the global settings only makes expiration controls available for that post type.

Existing items do not automatically receive expiration schedules. You must enable expiration on individual items or use Bulk Edit to apply a schedule to selected content.

This prevents unexpected changes to existing published content.
