Does Redirecting Expired Content Change the Post Status

The Redirect visitors action does not need to change the underlying WordPress post status.

When the expiration is processed, the plugin marks the item as expired. On frontend singular requests, it checks the expired state and redirect action, then sends the visitor to the configured destination.

This is different from Draft, Private, and Trash actions, which directly change the WordPress content status or trash state.
