Installing the Deviking Print Agent

The Deviking Print Agent is the Windows application that connects your WooCommerce store to the printers installed on your computer.

The Agent runs locally on Windows and communicates directly with Deviking Order Autoprint. No third-party printing service is required.

1. Locate the Print Agent Installer

After downloading and extracting the Deviking Order Autoprint product package, locate:

Deviking Print Agent Setup.exe

This is the only Agent installation file you need.

The installer automatically supports compatible 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems.

2. Run the Installer

Double-click:

Deviking Print Agent Setup.exe

Follow the installation steps until setup is complete.

The Agent is self-contained, so you do not need to install .NET separately.

3. Open Deviking Print Agent

After installation, open:

Deviking Print Agent

from the Windows Start menu.

The Agent window displays:

• Connected Sites
• Device status
• Pairing controls
• Detected printers
• Activity log
• Agent version
• Update controls

4. Check Your Printers

The Agent automatically detects printers already installed in Windows.

Under Detected printers, verify that the printer you want to use appears in the list.

Supported setups include printers installed in Windows such as:

• USB printers
• Network printers
• Wi-Fi printers
• A4/A5 office printers
• 80mm thermal printers
• 58mm thermal printers

If Windows cannot see the printer, the Agent cannot use it. Install the appropriate printer driver in Windows first.

5. Start the Agent with Windows

For automatic printing, it is recommended to enable:

Start with Windows

This allows the Agent to start automatically when the computer starts.

The Agent can continue running in the background from the Windows system tray.

Closing or minimizing the main window does not need to interrupt normal background operation.

6. Automatic Agent Updates

The Agent includes its own update system.

When enabled, it can check for newer Agent versions and install available updates automatically.

Plugin updates and Print Agent updates are handled separately.

7. Multiple WooCommerce Sites

A single Deviking Print Agent installation can connect to multiple licensed WooCommerce websites.

Each site is added independently and has its own secure connection.

You do not need to install another Agent on the same computer simply because you operate more than one WooCommerce store.

Each WooCommerce site still requires its own valid Deviking Order Autoprint license.

8. Installation Complete

The Print Agent is now installed.

The next step is to securely connect it to your WooCommerce website using a temporary pairing code.
