Understanding Failed Jobs and Retry Limits

Failed jobs record printing problems so they are visible and recoverable.

Automatic retries

Temporary failures can be retried automatically up to the configured retry limit.

Retry limit

A finite retry limit prevents endless printing loops.

After limit

The job remains Failed and can be reviewed, retried manually, reassigned or cancelled.

Logs

The Agent log may contain the Windows printing error that caused the failure.
