Deviking Order Autoprint

Using USB, Network and Wi-Fi Printers

Deviking Order Autoprint can use printers connected to the Windows computer through USB, the local network or Wi-Fi.

The printer must first be installed and working correctly in Windows.

1. USB Printers

A USB printer is connected directly to the Windows computer running the Deviking Print Agent.

Typical setup:

Windows PC → USB Cable → Printer

After the printer is installed in Windows, the Agent detects it automatically and reports it to WooCommerce.

USB printers are a good choice when the printer is used by a single workstation.

2. Network Printers

A network printer is connected to your local network and can usually be accessed by multiple computers.

Typical setup:

Windows PC → Local Network → Network Printer

The printer may use:

  • Ethernet
  • A network print server
  • A shared printer connection

The printer must be added to Windows before the Deviking Print Agent can use it.

3. Wi-Fi Printers

Wi-Fi printers work in the same way as other network printers.

Typical setup:

Windows PC → Wi-Fi Network → Printer

The printer should be connected to the same accessible network and correctly installed in Windows.

Once Windows can print to it, the Agent can report and use it.

4. Shared Windows Printers

A printer shared from another Windows computer may also be used if the Agent computer can access it through Windows.

For reliable automatic printing, make sure the shared printer remains available whenever print jobs are expected.

5. Test the Printer in Windows First

Before configuring the printer in Deviking Order Autoprint, print a normal Windows test page.

Go to:

Windows Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Printers & scanners

Select the printer and confirm that Windows can print successfully.

If the Windows test print fails, resolve the Windows printer issue first.

6. Verify the Printer in the Agent

Open:

Deviking Print Agent

Check the:

Detected printers

section.

The printer should appear in the list.

7. Verify the Printer in WooCommerce

In WordPress, go to:

Deviking Order Autoprint → Devices

Find the relevant Device.

The printer should appear under that Device after the Agent reports it.

8. Recommended Network Setup

For network and Wi-Fi printers, a stable network connection is important.

For business-critical printers, it is recommended to avoid frequently changing printer addresses or unreliable wireless connections.

The Windows computer must always be able to reach the printer.

9. No Direct Network Connection from WordPress

Your WooCommerce server does not connect directly to the printer.

The connection is always handled locally by the Windows Agent:

WooCommerce → Print Agent → Windows → Printer

This means you do not need to expose the printer to the internet.
