Filtering by Shipping Method

You can use the Shipping Method condition to print only orders that use specific WooCommerce shipping methods.

This is useful when different carriers, delivery methods or fulfillment workflows require different documents or printers.

1. Open the Print Rule

In your WordPress dashboard, go to:

Deviking Order Autoprint → Print Rules

Edit the rule you want to configure.

2. Add the Shipping Method Condition

Locate the rule conditions and select:

Shipping Method

Choose the shipping method that should match the rule.

Depending on your WooCommerce configuration, examples may include:

• Flat Rate
• Free Shipping
• Local Pickup
• Courier
• Express Delivery
• Shipping methods added by third-party plugins

The available options depend on the shipping methods configured in your WooCommerce store.

3. Example: Courier Orders

A rule could be configured as:

Trigger: Processing
Shipping Method: Courier
Template: Packing List
Printer: Warehouse A4 Printer

Only Processing orders using the selected Courier shipping method will match the rule.

4. Example: Local Pickup

You may want Local Pickup orders to print at a different location.

For example:

Trigger: Processing
Shipping Method: Local Pickup
Printer: Store Counter Printer
Template: Standard Order

This allows staff at the pickup location to receive the order automatically.

5. Different Carriers

If your WooCommerce store uses several shipping providers, you can create separate Print Rules for each one.

For example:

Rule 1
Courier A → Warehouse Printer

Rule 2
Courier B → Dispatch Printer

Rule 3
Local Pickup → Store Counter Printer

Each rule can also use its own template and document layout.

6. Combine with Other Conditions

Shipping Method can be combined with other conditions.

For example:

Trigger: Processing
Shipping Method: Courier
Shipping Country: Greece
Minimum Order Total: 50

The order must satisfy the complete rule configuration before a print job is created.

7. Shipping Methods Added by Plugins

Shipping plugins can add their own methods to WooCommerce.

These methods can be available for use in Print Rules as long as WooCommerce records them as the order’s shipping method.

If you replace or reconfigure a shipping plugin, review your Print Rules afterward.

8. Multiple Shipping Methods

If your store offers several delivery options, separate rules can help route the corresponding orders to the appropriate department or printer.

For example:

Home Delivery → Dispatch Department
Local Pickup → Store Counter
Express Delivery → Priority Packing Station

9. When to Use This Condition

Shipping Method filtering is particularly useful when:

• Different couriers require different documents
• Local Pickup orders are prepared separately
• Express orders need to reach a priority printer
• Different shipping workflows are handled by different departments
• Packing documents vary according to delivery method
