Filtering by Shipping State or Region
You can use the Shipping State / Region condition to print only orders being shipped to a specific state, province or region.
This is useful when different geographic areas are handled by different warehouses, couriers or fulfillment teams.
1. Open the Print Rule
In your WordPress dashboard, go to:
Deviking Order Autoprint → Print Rules
Edit the rule you want to configure.
2. Select the Shipping Country First
The available States or Regions depend on the selected country.
First choose:
Shipping Country
Then select the relevant:
Shipping State / Region
This keeps the available options relevant to the selected country.
3. Example: Regional Routing
A rule could be configured as:
Trigger: Processing
Shipping Country: Greece
Shipping State / Region: Attica
Printer: Athens Warehouse Printer
Only orders being shipped to Attica will match this rule.
4. Another Region
You could create another rule for a different area.
For example:
Trigger: Processing
Shipping Country: Greece
Shipping State / Region: Epirus
Printer: Ioannina Warehouse Printer
This allows regional order routing to different locations.
5. Combine with Other Conditions
Shipping State / Region can be combined with other rule conditions.
For example:
Trigger: Processing
Shipping Country: Greece
Shipping State / Region: Attica
Shipping Method: Courier
Minimum Order Total: 50
The order must satisfy all configured conditions before the print job is created.
6. Different Rules for Different Regions
You can create separate Print Rules for different states or regions.
For example:
Rule 1
Attica → Athens Warehouse
Rule 2
Central Macedonia → Thessaloniki Warehouse
Rule 3
Epirus → Ioannina Warehouse
Each rule can use its own:
- Device
- Printer
- Template
- Paper format
- Branding
7. Country-dependent Region List
The State / Region options are dynamic.
When you change the Shipping Country, the available regions are updated accordingly.
This helps avoid selecting a region that does not belong to the selected country.
8. Orders Without a State or Region
Some countries or shipping addresses may not include a state or region value.
If your rule requires a specific Shipping State / Region, orders without that value will not match the rule.
9. When to Use Region Filtering
Shipping State / Region filtering is useful when:
- Different warehouses serve different regions
- Regional branches handle their own orders
- Different couriers serve different areas
- Local fulfillment workflows vary by region
- Orders need to be printed at the nearest location
