Using Multiple Agents on the Same WooCommerce Store

A single WooCommerce store can connect to multiple Deviking Print Agents running on different Windows computers.

This is useful when different departments or locations need to print different documents.

1. When to Use Multiple Agents

You may want more than one Agent when your business has:

• Separate office and warehouse computers
• Multiple preparation areas
• Kitchen and dispatch stations
• Different physical locations
• Different printers connected to different Windows computers

Each Agent appears as its own Device inside Deviking Order Autoprint.

2. Install the Agent on Each Computer

Install:

Deviking Print Agent Setup.exe

on every Windows computer that needs to receive print jobs.

Each computer should have access to its own local or network printers.

3. Pair Each Computer Separately

For every new Agent:

1. Go to Deviking Order Autoprint → Devices
2. Generate a new pairing code
3. Open the Agent on the Windows computer
4. Enter the WooCommerce site URL
5. Enter a Device name
6. Enter the pairing code
7. Click Add Site

Repeat this process for every computer.

4. Use Clear Device Names

Use descriptive names so it is easy to identify each computer.

Examples:

• Office PC
• Warehouse PC
• Kitchen PC
• Dispatch PC
• Store Counter

These names will appear in the Devices screen and when selecting printers in Print Rules.

5. Each Agent Reports Its Own Printers

Every Agent reports the printers installed on its Windows computer.

Example:

Office PC

• Office A4 Printer

Warehouse PC

• Packing Printer
• Label Printer

Kitchen PC

• 80mm Thermal Printer

This makes it easy to assign each Print Rule to the correct Device and Printer.

6. Assign Rules to Different Devices

Different Print Rules can target different Agents.

For example:

Rule 1
Processing orders → Warehouse PC → Packing Printer

Rule 2
Food category → Kitchen PC → Thermal Printer

Rule 3
Manual office printing → Office PC → A4 Printer

Each Agent only processes jobs assigned to its Device.

7. Devices Work Independently

Each Agent has its own:

• Device UUID
• Authentication token
• Printer list
• Online / Offline status
• Agent version
• Connection history

If one computer goes offline, the others continue working normally.

8. Using a Fallback Device or Printer

For critical workflows, you can configure a fallback printer.

For example:

Primary: Warehouse PC → Packing Printer
Fallback: Office PC → Office Printer

If the primary destination remains unavailable for the configured period, the job can be redirected to the fallback destination.

9. No Extra License per Device

The Deviking Order Autoprint license applies to the WooCommerce website, not to each Windows computer.

A licensed site can use multiple Agents and multiple printers.

You do not need to purchase a separate license just because you add another Device to the same WooCommerce store.
