Deviking Order Autoprint

Filtering by Payment Method

You can use the Payment Method condition to print only orders paid with specific WooCommerce payment methods.

This is useful when different payment types require different printing workflows.

1. Open the Print Rule

In your WordPress dashboard, go to:

Deviking Order Autoprint → Print Rules

Edit the rule you want to configure.

2. Add the Payment Method Condition

Locate the rule conditions and select:

Payment Method

Choose the WooCommerce payment method that should match the rule.

Examples may include:

  • Cash on Delivery
  • Bank Transfer
  • Credit / Debit Card
  • PayPal
  • Stripe
  • Paddle
  • Other gateways installed on your WooCommerce store

The exact options depend on the payment gateways available on your website.

3. Example: Cash on Delivery Orders

A rule could be configured as:

Trigger: Processing
Payment Method: Cash on Delivery
Printer: Office Printer

Only Processing orders using Cash on Delivery will match this rule.

4. Example: Online Payments

You can create a separate rule for orders paid through an online gateway.

For example:

Trigger: Processing
Payment Method: Stripe
Printer: Warehouse Printer

This allows different payment types to be routed to different printers or templates.

5. Combine with Other Conditions

Payment Method can be combined with other rule conditions.

For example:

Trigger: Processing
Payment Method: Cash on Delivery
Shipping Country: Greece
Minimum Order Total: 50

The order must match all configured conditions before the rule creates a print job.

6. Multiple Rules for Different Payment Methods

You can create different rules for different payment workflows.

For example:

Rule 1
Cash on Delivery → Office Printer

Rule 2
Card Payments → Warehouse Printer

Rule 3
Bank Transfer → Manual Review Printer

Each rule is evaluated independently.

7. Gateway Names

The payment method shown in the rule comes from WooCommerce and the installed payment gateway.

If a gateway is renamed or replaced, review your Print Rules to make sure the correct payment method is still selected.

8. When to Use This Condition

Payment Method filtering is useful when:

  • Cash on Delivery orders require different paperwork
  • Certain gateways require internal records
  • Different departments handle different payment types
  • You want separate templates for different payment methods
