Creating Different Layouts for Different Rules

Layouts are stored per Print Rule.

This means you can create completely different document designs for different printing workflows.

For example:

Office Order

Template: Standard Order
Paper: A4
Logo: Large
Customer: Enabled
Products: Enabled
Totals: Enabled
Footer: Enabled

Warehouse Packing List

Template: Packing List
Paper: A4
Customer: Limited
Products: Enabled
Totals: Hidden
Notes: Enabled

Kitchen Ticket

Template: Kitchen Ticket
Paper: 80mm
Logo: Small
Products: Enabled
Totals: Hidden
Notes: Enabled
Font: Larger

Customer Receipt

Template: Customer Receipt
Paper: 58mm
Products: Enabled
Totals: Enabled
Footer: Thank-you message

Because each rule is independent, changing one layout does not modify another rule.

You can also duplicate an existing rule when you want to create a similar layout quickly.
